What is ROR (Record of Rights) and how can one obtain it?

Right of Records (RoR) contains details regarding ownership of the property. It is an important document pertaining to agricultural lands. It contains details like Survey number, village, district, mandal, khata number, extent of property, owner details, etc.

Registration of unapproved lands, non converted land, and green belts open

High Court might open registration of revenue properties. Even though state government has allowed registration of B Khata properties in the city and e khata properties in gramathana sites in December 2013, unapproved layouts and there in green belt, on the city's outskirts were not being given E khata. Due to this, such properties could not be registered causing many issues for owners of such properties. 

Property tax to be based on guideline value

The new property tax rates will be based on guideline values for the zone in which the unit is located. The city has been classified into six zones namely A,B,C,D,E and F. Zone A will have guidance value of Rs. 7,000 psf and above while zone F will have guidance value of Rs. 1000 psf and below.
