Hi Nitin,

I believe that one of the affordable housing schemes that Maharashtra government has made available for joint venture has following rules:
1) The land owner should have a minimum of 2200 sq.m. land and this should be handed over to MHADA
2) Government would then provide higher FSI available in Mumbai, Thane, Kalyan-Dombivali, Bhivandi-Nijampur, Pune, Solapur, Kholhapur, Nashik, Malegaon, Dhule, Jalgaon, Ahmadnagar, Aurangabad, Nanded, Nagpur Municipal jurisdiction.
3) This 50% extra FSI will be shared between the owner and MHADA.
4) Developer can hand over the building on additional FSI to MHADA for which MHADA will pay him cost of construction at district schedule of rate.

Thanks and regards,
Krish
