TOPIC: understanding area measurment in Patta

understanding area measurment in Patta 4 months 2 weeks ago #8873

Dear All,
Can some one please help to understand the area calculation as mentioned in patta.
In Patta uder Area column we have
! CAW GRD ! ! SQ FT !
! Hec ! Ares! ! Sq. Mtr. !
! 0 ! 01 ! ! 0176 !

How do I understand the conversion in terms of sq.feet. Where as the actual area of the land is 2600 sq.ft
This is H.A.Sqmt = 0.01.0176, that what I heared from some one, but don't know the meaning and the calculation with respect to sq.foot.
Someone also said PLR area is 0.01.0176. But what is PLR area ?
Other term I heard is Adopted area . What is adopted area ?
Many thanks in advance.!

to understand area calcultion in patta 4 months 2 weeks ago #8874

Dear Experts,
The plot size area calculation in patta is mentioned in terms of H.A.Sq.ft
I am not able to relate it properly to square feet.
2600 sqft land (52 ft X 50 ft) is shown as 0.01.0176 H.A.Sq.Ft.
Can some one explain me this conversion.
Also would like to know about the terms, P.L.R Area and Adopted area and how it is calculated.

Thanks in advanc !

Hi Arivu,

We have a square feet to are converter in the following link. That might help you understand what should be the are measurement for this property. Hectare, Are and sq meter are different conversion units here.
