TOPIC: Regarding Rectification Deed.

Regarding Rectification Deed. 9 months 2 days ago #8573

During resurvey, the survey dept found that the old survey number (survey number before the resurvey was done) mentioned in the title deed of my plot is not correct. After that, the Taluk Office issued an order asking me to do a rectification deed of my title. My question here is

1. Do I need to do rectification deed only for my title or is it rectification needed in the prior titles as well? I find that the survey number mentioned in my title (which the survey dept says is wrong) is the same in the prior titles of earlier owners also, dating back to 80 years.

Please advice.

Hi Manish,

In my opinion, rectification deed needs to be done only for your title deed not for previous title deeds.
